What Were the Results for the Ford F-Series Trucks for May?

For the month of May, there were nearly 85,000 F-Series pickup truck models sold. This result is impressive in numbers to start with, but to receive the entire picture of what this means for the truck and how they perform it’s important to compare these numbers to previous years and see what comes of this comparison. This sales increase is one that shows an 11.3 percent growth compared to the previous month and it continues to be a truck that shows growth and has for the past thirteen months.

The numbers offered to make this the best May for the F-Series trucks and the sales offered since 2000. For the 2018 calendar year, the F-Series truck is off to its best start since 2000 and it’s one track to post its ninth consecutive year of sales gains. Over the past nine months, the F-Series lineup has passed the 80,000 mark four times and through May of this year, Ford has sold 371,934 F-Series pickup trucks. The total increase in sales experienced by Ford last month was 0.7 percent with a total of 242,824 models sold last month. When you do the math, you can see why Ford is putting a serious focus on the SUV and pickup truck lineups considering the F-Series trucks accounted for more than one-third of the overall sales for the brand, making it one of the top-selling vehicles on the market today.
