Kia has already indicated that the 2025 Sorento HEV and PHEV models will be available in late 2024. The photos released so far give some indication as to what buyers should expect.
The exterior of the 2025 Kia Sorento gets a facelift with vertical headlights reminiscent of those found on the EV9 and an updated grille. The 2025 Sorento Hybrids also feature front and rear fascia with a wide skid plate garnish.
The overall effect is to give the Sorento Hybrid a bolder, more distinctive look from front and back. Love it or hate it, the look is a little more rugged.
Drivers Can Expect Exterior Upgrades
Most experts believe that in addition to the aesthetic changes noted above, Kia will make roof rails, LED exterior lighting, and a smart power tailgate standard on the 2025 Sorento Hybrid.
The base model will feature 17-inch Aero wheels, while the higher trim levels’ wheels will be 19 inches. Drivers will also have some new options, regardless of the model. The 2025 Sorento Hybrid will be available in new colors like Dawning Red and Midnight Lake Blue.
Since the mid-cycle upgrade is primarily aesthetic, dimensions should remain the same.
Interior Changes to the Sorento Hybrid
As with the SUV’s exterior, the 2025 Kia Sorento Hybrid will have an upgraded interior aesthetic. Changes to the existing setup include a more horizontal theme for the dash, making the inside feel more spacious and reducing design clutter.
The 2025 Sorento Hybrid will feature the same next-gen tech found in the EV9. That includes an advanced processing system, Quick Controls, and over-the-air updates.
The new, slimmed-down dash will feature a standard 4.3-inch TFT display and a 12.3-inch infotainment screen. However, drivers may want to upgrade to the available panoramic curved display for an even more modern feel.
