The Six Functions of the GMC MultiPro Tailgate
As the most revolutionary tailgate in the market which gives you six different function and different positions for enhanced loading options, you’re going to be pleased with what this tailgate offers. Here are the six functions of this tailgate:
- Primary Gate – This allows the tailgate to open the way you normally do and it does so automatically by using the button on the key fob or by using a button in the truck or on the gate itself.
- Primary Gate Load Stop – With this feature the gate opens partially to help you avoid having items slide out of the bed and onto the ground. This can be the right function for you when you’re hauling loose materials in the bed.
- Easy Access – The inner section of the gate folds down which allows you to reach deeper into the bed than you would normally be able to do. This means you can reach the tools and smaller items that might be near the end of the bed.
- Full-Width Step – The inner gate folds down into a large step to give you easy access to the bed. This step is rated to hold up to 375 pounds which makes it easy for you to step up even if you’re a larger person.
- Inner Gate Load Stop – This function makes it possible for the second-tier items to avoid sliding out of the bed of the truck.
- Inner Gate with Work Surface – When the tailgate is opened you’re provided with a work surface and the second-tier loading that makes it easy for you to do work on the back of your truck.
