If you want one of the most popular models in the BMW lineup you might think this car would be affordable to insure, but you’d be wrong. While the frequency of reported claims is lower for the M3 than for the M4, the severity of the cost for an average accident is $16,866 to make this a car that costs quite a bit to repair from those that tear it up on the road.

7. Audi RS7

This is the only Audi on the list, making it the only one you want to avoid if you want to pay less for insurance. This high-performance model has a high frequency of reported claimed and an average cost of repairs of $16,013 making it an extremely expensive model to have repaired with the items that will need to be used to get this car whole again.

This large coupe is one of the most impressive cars you can find to drive on the road. This car shows a high frequency of claims and an expensive price tag when you need to repair the car of $17,436 on average. Keep that in mind when you’re looking for this large and active coupe to drive and insure.

This luxury sports coupe is one of the most elegant and attractive models you’ll find in the market, but it’s also one of the most expensive to insure and cover. Claims are at a high rate for this model and the cost for the average repair comes in at $18,785 when this car has been in a crash.

This one should come as no surprise with its special items and parts that are difficult to source. The claim frequency for this car is lower than the rest we’ve discussed but the cost for those claims shows up at $21,588 on average. This impressive sedan is the runner up when it comes to the overall cost and frequency to repair this vehicle. It has a claim severity higher than the Continental GTC which is why it shows up higher on the list but the average cost of those claims shows up a little lower at $28,816 to give you a slight reprieve.

The most expensive car to crash is this version of the Continental. Once again, if you can afford the car, the cost of the crash might not be too big an issue for you. The frequency of reported accidents is relatively low, but the cost of those claims comes in at an average of $35,744 for this amazing luxury coupe.
