This new item might not be made to be used as something that could be sold or gain value, but it might be pretty cool for collectors to have. This new item is the first NFT (non-fungible token) which will be sold later this month. Yes, if you put all that together, it seems that Lamborghini is creating its own version of a cryptocurrency, but it won’t be something that can be used to buy other products. It will, however, be a currency that could be saved, gain value, and eventually passed down to the next in the line of the wealthy people that collect the vehicles that wear this brand name.

The NFT has an Amazing Space Theme

The NFT that was designed by artist Fabian Oefner, shows various components of a Lamborghini model floating in space over what appears to be the Earth. The components appear to be shooting off like a rocket with the blackness of space as the background. This design is amazing, and it could give collectors something spectacular to add to their collections.

Once the NFT auction begins, it will last 75 hours and 50 minutes, which was the exact time it took the Apollo 11 to leave Earth and enter the orbit of the moon. That is a pretty cool tidbit about the thought process behind what Lamborghini is thinking and how they intend to market this new item.

Not only will the NFT have a space theme to it, but this company is also selling a set of carbon fiber “space keys” that were sent to the International Space Station in 2020.

It’s not hard to imagine that selling a new NFT would be the thing that fits extremely well with what this brand has to offer. This brand is known for providing some of the most energetic and amazing cars in the market to those who can afford to collect them. The other truly Lamborghini thing to do is to avoid accepting bitcoin or any type of cryptocurrency as a form of payment for its vehicles. This company has always been conservative in this area and does not want to take chances in this area by allowing an unproven currency to be used as payment.

There will be a limited production version of the Sian roadsters that will give us a fourth model. Before 2030, this brand will give us a new all-electric supercar that will add to the mix.

So far, we don’t know what platform will be used for the new all-electric car that will be around by the end of the decade. Most likely, this new electric supercar will not be made on the MEB platform, even though this rand is part of the Volkswagen Group.
