Lexus Begins to Tease Us With a New EV Concept

A few weeks ago, Lexus offered us a shadowy look at its new EV Concept Car that will arrive sometime down the road.

This view gave us the feeling of a car that could be a sporty sedan, it could be an impressive coupe, or it might be a low-slung crossover. We don’t know exactly what this new concept will be, but we do know it’s going to come out into the light soon.

We Don’t Know Much, but We Know Enough

The dark shape that is teasing us from Lexus is one that offers a little and a lot at the same time. While we can’t tell exactly what this new vehicle will be, the shape tells us quite a story. The brand is certainly going for a sweeping roofline with a fastback shape that gives the rear a higher finish than the front. This could be a sporty sedan or it could be something else.

The stance and view of this new Lexus EV Concept Car hint at sitting higher off the ground in the rear, which might mean a crossover SUV, but it could simply be a shadowy trick that our eyes are playing on us. This new Lexus EV Concept Car is a departure from the past models, giving us a more shapely finish to the product.

We Just Don’t Know Much from the Dark Images

Of course, the dark images with just a hint of shapes on different areas of the car were meant to tease us and make us wonder what this vehicle will be. We don’t know much and we certainly don’t know for sure this new concept will be an EV. It could be a hybrid vehicle, but that will be information we gain later.
