The Fastest Charging in the West

The Genesis GV60 will only be offered with a 77.4-kWh battery package that allows you to enjoy fast-charging at 350 kW when needed. This charging system makes it possible for you to take the batteries from ten percent to 80 percent in only 18 minutes. If needed, you can also use the GV60 to charge other EVs or a few home appliances, making it a power generator that can help out in a pinch.

How Far Can You Go?

If you’re planning a road trip in the future, the GV60 could be the right vehicle for you. With the fast-charging feature, you won’t spend hours stopping to recharge, just a few minutes at a time. With a full battery charge in the base RWD model, you’ll have 280 miles of driving range, with the AWD version giving you 249 miles of range. The Performance Model gives you 229 miles of driving range from a full charge. These are all competitive numbers, giving you the distance you need to drive this SUV for several days during your commute.

This Genesis Isn’t a Quiet EV

While the Genesis GV60 uses the E-GMP platform, it’s the first electric SUV from the Hyundai family to pump out fake engine noise through the speakers. This feature is called electric-Active Sound Design (e-ASD), and it gives you sounds that mimic a gasoline engine depending on the speed, drive model, and pressure applied to the accelerator. This means you’ll feel and hear the power working in your SUV, even if those sounds are manufactured. This gives you a feeling of excitement and fun without having to use your own imagination to create the sounds you love to hear.
