This new compact crossover will join the new GV80 in the Genesis family to give the brand a pair of crossovers for us to enjoy. Other luxury brands need to be shaking in their shoes a bit with Genesis bringing so much to the market in one year.

The GV70 is an SUV that doesn’t ride on a shared platform but takes elements from several models and has its own flair for sportiness and fun included. Aggressive is Part of the Character in the Genesis GV70
It’s easy to see the aggressiveness and luxury qualities of the GV70 when you see it. This SUV has a grille that sits between the quad headlights, there’s an element called the “Parabolic Line” that runs from the headlights to the rear wheel arches which dips lower on the GV70 than it does on the GV80. You’re going to admire the style of this SUV when you’re ready for a luxury drive.
Looking at the rear of the Genesis GV70, we see a twin-line taillight setup but this feature is wrapped around the sides. You don’t see any concave surfaces, which are present on the GV80 but see slowing rear glass to give a smooth transition. The exhaust ports of the GV70 are the same as the GV80, but they are turned ninety degrees to offer a bit of a unique look to them.
Going Inside is a Visual Dance for You
The cabin of the GV70 offers you shapes you can admire and plenty of chrome trim where you want it. There’s a strip of chrome that runs the width of the dashboard and you’ll notice a minimal design to allow for very little interruption in the lines from one side to the other. Admire the widescreen infotainment screen on top of the dash and the elegance of the style of this area of the GV70.
