Three Great Power Offerings in the Escape

The base power for the Ford Escape comes from a 1.5-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder engine that offers you 181 horsepower and 190 lb.-ft. of torque. This engine gives you cylinder deactivation which will shut down one cylinder to give you better fuel mileage. The SE Sport model uses a 2.5-liter Atkinson cycle hybrid engine that produces 200 horsepower. The SEL and Titanium trims are powered by a 2.0-liter EcoBoost engine that allows you to have 250 horsepower and 280 lb.-ft. of torque. The base engine can be had with either FWD or AWD while the others are only offered with AWD.
